About this property

Welcome to The Beeches Hotel

Situated in the leafy suburb of West Bridgford, Nottingham, The Beeches Hotel offers a straightforward and modern setting close to small parks, traditional pubs, and the City Ground where Nottingham Forest matches take place. The hotel provides an accessible location around 2 miles from Nottingham city centre, with convenient links to nearby airports including East Midlands, Birmingham, and Manchester.

The accommodation features simple rooms equipped with basic amenities, though some guests have noted rooms can feel warm, mitigated by provision of fans upon request. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, gym, spa with hot tub, and a takeout restaurant alongside the Beeches Bar & Restaurant, which has received positive feedback for its Anglo-European dining options. Free Wi-Fi and free parking add to the convenience, though the hotel does not offer air conditioning or airport shuttle services.

Some remarks mention soundproofing limitations between rooms and minor noise from external sources, which could be a consideration for light sleepers. The hotel is smoke-free and kid-friendly but does not accommodate pets.

Booked a king room for one night and was satisfied so would consider staying here again. Reception lady was really welcoming. Room was spacious enough and clean. Great that free parking is included and extra facilities in the price. A good size pool and jacuzzi, gym also looked good. I can agree with previous reviews that rooms can get warm but we have a fan in our room upon arrival so wasn’t a problem and seems the hotel took reviews on board.

I selected this hotel because of the pool and sauna. It's only a 15 minute bus ride from the city centre. The staff were very pleasant. Shout out to Mary for her welcome and helping me check in. The cleanliness was great. The room was fairly cosy shall we say, but it was only me in a single. The desk was more of a vanity than a desk, but there was loads of space in the dining area and bar as I needed to study. Everything was clean and spotless. Even the changing rooms in gym/pool area. The pool is not an Olympic sized one, but you can get a few short (very short) lengths in. The sauna and jacuzzi were great. The breakfast buffet was good. The chef that worked on the Friday (24th) was amazing especially. Staff were all around brilliant, friendly and helpful. Only 2 negative things: the constant hum in the background of fans/generators etc near or around the windows and you could just about hear your neighbour walk about, use the toilet or sneeze. The thought of screaming kids (bless them!) through those walls would be a nightmare! Also, the very old hairdryers in the rooms need an upgrade. So ladies, don't forget yours (like I did)! Other than that, highly recommend for a solo traveller/business traveller/mature family. If I ever visit Nottingham again, I will definitely want to stay again! Thank you for my first solo trip ever - to Nottingham - unforgettable!

Pleasant looking hotel from the outside which is situated 2 miles from the centre of Nottingham easy to drive with plenty of parking in the area. Entered reception, quick and easy booking in, and simple directions to the room, hotel was clean, tidy and pleasant decor. Restaurant with a simple menu catering for coeliacs, vegetarian and grass munchers, separate bar and lounge for relaxing in the evening with comfortable seating. Room was a double room, better suited to a single occupant. Double bed, large 48in Smart TV, coffee and tea facilities with limited coffee, tea bags and sugar, hair dry (not needed on this visit as I have little to no hair) iron and ironing board. Room itself was at the rear of the building which ment being away from the road facing a quiet residential estate and was peaceful unable to hear any road noise. Bedside table on both sides with a small dressing table with stool. There was a walk in wardrobe with plenty of space for hanging clothes (limited hangers) I would consider bring some from home. Small functional en-suit bathroom with shower and a good constant source of hot water and you didn’t need to run around in the shower to get wet. Toilet and sink with small hand and bath towels provided. Breakfast included served in the dining room, this is a full English with, Fried and scrambled eggs, button mushroom, hash browns, sausage, bacon, baked beans. The usual assortment of cereal’s, fruit, orange juice, various teas available (including herbal” & coffee, self help with toast. Breakfast is self service. Menu simple to navigate with the usual GASTRO type food available at reasonable prices. Staff were all very helpful, curious, plate and respectful, nothing was too much of a problem. Plenty of parking to the rear of the premises for cars. I stayed for 4 nights on business, main doors close at 11pm however if your a night owl your door keycard gains you access to the hotel through the reception entrance giving you a little freedom in the evenings. The hotel have free WiFi which was accessible even from the room at the back (RM 38). My only gripe was I needed a team of sharpers and oxygen for the long climb to the room, I as a little dizzy and threw myself on the bed. It is highly probably I will be in the area again in the near future and have requested my Company book me that hotel again. Very pleasant place highly recormended.

This gorgeous restaurant is opposite us. So we took the plunge and went over to see what it was like. We are so glad we did. It was absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious and full of flavour. The staff were amazing. The venue was very nicely decorated and clean. Even the toilets were clean and nice. There were even spare toilet rolls and hand cream. I would highly recommend and we will be back when we have another special occasion to celebrate or before when we want a special treat.
